Constantly learning and striving to create interesting visual ideas and images . As well as having respect for the Musicians and Artist’s that I have worked with and supported me in what I do.I started as a lyric writer in the 90’s , before progressing to a songwriter in the 00’s . But always had aspirations to be a film maker , for which my background in song writing has benefited the films and videos for which I have worked / working on . That is recognising the beats of a film or music video of how they flow on screen ( cuts of the edit etc..).Film Making has been a learning curve for me. Starting with some quite simple you tube videos and a short Documentary about my stay in New York . To the more experimental , for example the music film ‘Caged Rat’. It took a fire in 2008 to completely revaluate my film making plan .The fire in 2008 which happened just before principal photography was commence on an ambitious fantasy adventure film called ‘Like and Angel’ . Out of the embers (no pun intended) I became a much stronger person and film maker . Literally going through film school to create with the team supporting the project a 45 minute mini feature on a zero budget ( tudor time travel ). Since then things have exploded for me and I have now have a quite varied body of work . With varied bands and solo artists . Plus I sometimes use my videos ( for my songs) as experimental film making bases for ideas for other projects.Another part of the film making process I love is producing. That is in the laying of the ground work for a production in designing posters , trailers , audition organisation , interview cast promos , general publicity for a project (sorting radio , News Paper and Even TV coverage for my projects ) and organising locations . As wellas that I have been involved in a the organisation of charity music events .My work has been promoted on local radio , the NME , ITV Westcountry , Devon and Cornwall film and many other film distribution outlets . As well as Premieres at the Blue Walnut Cinema and a massive Premiere at the Spanish Barn , Torre Abbey , Torbay . As well as raking up over 60,000 plays on various sites.To the future , things continue to grow . With a Documentary six months in , another feature in pre- production and varied music videos I’m working on and in the works . All done on very tight budgets and with a degree of professionalism and love for what I do . Amazing all part time , I work full time as well . With the aim to get enough work to go full time and I’m glad to report in a relatively short time I’m half way there.My music has still be the forfront of what I do , with in recent years I done alot of soundtrack work and when time allows have contined with my song writing , with selected songs avaliable on I Tunes and Amazon . As well as selected songs and music recordings avaliable on this site for you to listen to.Last and not least I would like to thank all the artists , musicians and film makers I have had the privilege to work with over the years . Thank you for your support and keeping me doing what I do .
